ONEONTA, N.Y.—The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team manhandled the visiting Mustangs of Morrisville tonight in its final dual meet of the season. The Red Dragons, who entered tonight's match ranked No. 30 in the latest Div. III poll, won 31-10 to finish with an overall record of 13-6-1.

Junior Justin Delamothe got Morrisville off to a 5-0 start with a tech fall at 125 lbs. over sophomore David Bailen (Airmont/Suffern) (Airmont, Suffern) of Oneonta.

After receiving a forfeit win at 133 lbs., Oneonta won the next three weight classes to break the match wide open. Senior Michael Gregg (Islip/Islip) (Islip, Islip) scored four points with a 10-2, major decision at 141 lbs. Freshman Dan Graff (LaGrangeville, Arlington) registered a 3-0 decision at 149 lbs. and sophomore JP Sala (Islip, Islip) capped the streak with a fall in 4:57 against Spencer Brady at 157 lbs.

Nathaniel Cross and Jeremy Hoyte won back-to-back decisions for Morrisville at 165 and 174 lbs. to cut Oneonta's lead to 19-11.

Senior Brian Kramer (Hopkinton, MA/Hopkinton) (Hopkinton, MA, Hopkinton) clinched the match for the Red Dragons at 184 lbs. with a pin of Wheeler Brunschmid. Kramer trailed in the match early in the third period before turning Brunschmid and recording the fall.

Freshman Stephen Provenzano (Islip/Islip) (Islip, Islip) and senior James Lamonica (Staten Island/Monsignor Farrell) (Staten Island, Monsignor Farrell) closed the match for Oneonta with wins at 197 and 285 lbs.

Oneonta will now take the next 10 days to prepare for the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference championships at Ithaca on Feb. 26. The ECWC tournament is the NCAA qualifying tournament for the Red Dragons.
